Exile & Return: A Time to Build

The best way to deepen your relationship with God is to get to know Him better by understanding in His Word what he says about himself and has done in the world.

Join us in the study of God and this journey through the Old Testament with in-depth study of characters like Daniel, Nehemiah, Ezra and Esther who were called to build His kingdom in a foreign land.

Complete study is 30 weeks, but you may join anytime.

Smaller 2-3 week mini-studies are available throughout the year.

Bible Study Fellowship is a global community of 500,000 men, women, students, and kids getting to know God better by studying His Word together. Each year, BSF groups study for 30 weeks, either in person or online.

This year’s study is already underway - Exile & Return -, featuring eight Old Testament books of history and prophecy. But Exile & Return isn’t just an Old Testament history lesson. These books contain the story of God using his people to accomplish His purposes. The next of those is the Book of Esther. Esther’s world was complicated, yet God orchestrated her challenging circumstances in an ungodly country to accomplish His eternal plan.

If you’d like to “taste and see” what involved in the study, BSF offers a 5-week mini-study on the entire 13 chapters of the Book of Nehemiah that demonstrates his life as a man of perseverance in rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. This mini-study is available to download and gives you an opportunity to study BSF content on your own or be part of a discussion group.
