Membership reflects our belief that faith isn’t meant to be lived alone. As a congregational church, we serve together as the body of Christ — and every member’s voice matters.

Together, we lead, serve, and build what God is doing at LAC.

Shared Leadership

As a congregational church, we believe in the priesthood of all believers. We lead and serve together as the body of Christ.

Your Voice Matters

Members play an active role in shaping the direction and decisions of our church.

Opportunities to Lead

Membership opens the door to serving in key leadership roles, including Elders and Deacons.

Who is a
Member?

Members are believers who commit to:

  • Faithfully following Jesus,
  • Regularly attending worship services,
  • Participating in our community life,
  • Serving in our ministries,
  • Giving regularly to support the church,
  • Abiding by the Congregational Covenant.

Becoming a
Member at Lake

We believe that God calls each of us to be part of a local church family. If you feel led to join the “Lake Family,” we would love to walk alongside you as you discover God’s purpose for your life and find ways to grow and serve in community.

Explore Lake

Every 2nd Sunday of the month.

Explore Lake is a relaxed, welcoming space to meet others, connect with pastors and leaders, hear the heart of Lake, and ask questions. Whether you’re new or discerning your next step, this is the best place to begin.

Step 2

Attend a Membership Class

Attend a Membership Class to learn more about what we believe, our values, and what it means to live out faith together at Lake. While everyone is welcome to participate in church life, membership is an invitation into shared leadership, deeper connection, and shared responsibility for our church family.
