Every card sent carries a message of God’s love and compassion. The Card Ministry shares Christ’s comfort and encouragement by sending hundreds of handwritten cards to our Lake Avenue Church family and people in our community throughout the year — celebrating birthdays, offering get-well wishes, extending sympathy, and more.
We also share Daily Bread devotionals with our homebound members, reminding them that they are never forgotten and always loved in Christ.
Together, we seek to:
- Encourage hearts through notes of prayer and Christian love
- Bring comfort to those who are grieving, lonely, or ill
- Celebrate God’s blessings and life milestones within our church family
- Share the hope of Christ with those unable to attend in person
Every word, every prayer, every card becomes a touch of God’s grace — reminding others that they are seen, loved, and part of the body of Christ.
