The Older Young Adult (OYA) fellowship is a Christ-led community for adults 30-45, dedicated to deepening their relationship with the Lord. Our mission is to provide community to individuals through prayer, fellowship, and biblical study. Meeting regularly, OYA offers a space of belonging where older young adults can grow together in faith and purpose.
The vision of OYA is to cultivate a thriving community of believers and those who seek God, abide in Christ’s love, and bear witness to his power. Through vulnerability, transparency, and shared life, we strive to reflect our faith in daily living while actively engaging with the larger Lake Avenue Church community through service and fellowship. Our desire is to see older young adults passionately pursue God, deepening their relationship with Him and one another.
Intimacy with God – Cultivating deep relationship with the Lord through prayer, worship, and the Word.
Community & Belonging – Creating a safe space for fellowship, encouragement, and sharing a meal together.
Spiritual Growth – Helping individuals discern and develop their God-given gifts and callings.
Witness & Testimony – Living transformed lives that proclaim the Good News both in word and action.
Restoration & Accountability – Committing to a journey of healing, forgiveness, and reconciliation while holding one another accountable in love and truth.
