Assistant audio, or "A2", provides support to the audio mixing team by setting up microphones and monitors during the rehearsal, during service and helping to tear down after service. The A2 will be trained in cable wrapping, microphone selection/placement, and operation of audio consoles. This position is considered entry-level and a is great place to start for anyone who wants to learn more about audio engineering.
